Configure Outlook to use Outlook Anywhere

  1. Open outlook and click on “file”.
  2. Click on “Account Settings
  3. Click on “Change
  4. Click on “More Settings
  5. Click on “Security
  6. Click on “connection
  7. Click on “Exchange Proxy Connection
  8. Click on “On Fast network, connect using HTTP first, then connect using TCP/IP” in “Microsoft Proxy Settings
  9. Click on “Ok” in Microsoft Exchange Proxy Settings
  10. Click on “Ok” in “Microsoft Exchange
  11. Click on “Ok” and select next in  Change Account
  12. Click on “finish” in “Change Account
  13. Close in “Account Settings
  14. Restart outlook and right click on “Microsoft outlook” while holding down CTRL
  15.  Click on “Connection Status"
  16. Verify the connection is made via HTTP

Use a custom ADM file to push this setting to all clients via group policies “KB 961112”
