Lync Error- Cannot sign in to Lync because your computer clock is not set correctly

Issue: 

Lync client shows the error message 'Cannot sign in to Lync because your computer clock is not set correctly.' on try to sign in:


Cause

Client computer clock is not set correctly.

Resolution

Correct the date and/or time on the client computer using the 'Date and Time' in the Windows Control Panel.

If client computer is a member of a Windows Active Directory domain, the time can be synchronized by the following command: 


w32tm /resync

In order to synchronize time with a time server, execute the command: 


w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:
